Westlands School has formed an exciting partnership with HDC Training Limited for the delivery of a range of relevant qualifications within the Early Years Care and Education sector.

Students will learn the basics in Level 1, giving them the necessary tools to gain confidence in this field and to plan their progression within the sector.

Level 2 will see students studying the development of children from birth to 16 and will include ‘hands on’ experience combined with theoretical knowledge.

Student wishing to further their studies in the field of Early Years Care and Education, with a view to employment or Higher Education, may then progress to Level 3 where they will broaden and deepen their knowledge of childcare from birth to 16, alongside focused work placements which further develop practical skills.
