Choosing to do A Level Mathematics in the Sixth Form says much about the kind of person you are.
The course is recognised as being intellectually demanding, and it requires a lot of hard work. Advance Level Mathematics is a real advertisement for your abilities, particularly when you move on to either employment or higher education.

Mathematics is a creative discipline. The language of mathematics is international. The subject transcends cultural boundaries and its importance is universally recognised. Mathematics has developed over time as a means of solving problems and also for its own sake.
A Level Mathematics is very useful (often necessary) for entry into a whole host of different careers and courses, including engineering, banking, medicine, accountancy, pharmacy, architecture, meteorology, geology, psychology, economics … the list is endless.
Above all, A Level Mathematics is a rigorous and exciting course!
